Let God express through you

In our daily lives, there are various expressions of different characteristics. For example, if you are happy or thankful you smile. Smile is an expression of happiness or gratitude. If someone wants to put a smile on your face, they might tickle you or do something for you as a gesture to make you smile. If a friend knows you like flowers or reading a joke, they might share it with in order to see you laugh or smile. They want you to express your happiness.

God wanted you to be joyful and see a smile on your face always. He went to the extent of the cross, grave and hell to put a smile on your face. That is something no one else would do for you, personally no matter how much they say they love you. Human love goes only to a certain extent but the love of God surpasses all understanding and it has no boundaries. Agape (God kind of love) is limitless and unstoppable. Because of the love for us, Jesus defeated everything that would ever steal that smile on your face such as sickness, poverty, strife, enemity, destructions and finally, death. So, there is no weapon, NOTHING, left to prosper against us (Isaiah 54:17). They are defeated by Christ Jesus for us and this is the heritage we have as God's own children (Isaiah 54:17). He wants you to be joyful and have a smile on your face always. In John 16: 24 Jesus said, "Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete." Through answered prayers, miracles and testimonies, God gets all the glory and that is His expression through you. Your joy is His expression. Let Him freely flow and express through you.

On the contrary, sicknesses, diseases, oppression, depression, poverty and anything that causes discomfort and distress are expressions of Satan. We need to firmly stand against them. Not one of them in this list have any characteristics of God. They simply come to steal, kill and destroy. I have seen so many people with different illnesses, small or big, they are not good in anyway. The signs and symptoms are effects that you see outside, just the tip of the iceberg. But the real pain is in the inside. Sicknesses kill people at different levels and at different rates. They need to be stopped. The first step to come against anything that is satanic is to recognise it and stand firmly against it. Try not to manage it. In the world, once people experience a sign or a symptom of a disease they seek ways to manage it. This is like pampering it. The more you do, they more it will stay. For instance, if the sickness were a dog and it was coming near you, the more you acknowledge it, pet it and pamper it, the more it will stay with you. But if you decide you don't want it and "shoo" the dog, it will flee! The same with sicknesses or anything that is not of God in your life. Take a firm stand and "shoo" it using the Word of God in the Name of Jesus. It MUST flee! Another analogy would be if a thief tries to break into the house, the owners will do their best to close the doors so that he does not get a foothold. They would use every weapon in the toolbox to keep him out and force him to flee. No owner would say, "Oh, I have noticed you. Please take a seat, be comfortable, hope the room temperature is optimal for you and let me prepare a cup of tea. Meanwhile, let me check whom I should be calling and what best can be done to prevent adverse effects and damages that might be caused by you. We need to assess how to manage the situation." NO! But this is sometimes the attitude and approach many Christians take. It does not matter what the world's ways of doing things are concerning these circumstances. God's ways are higher and the best. It is revealed to us by His Word. Submit to God (His Word), resist the devil and He has to flee!

Take a stand now. Stand firmly against the wiles of the devil. You have the greatest weapon, the Word of God and the greatest Teacher, the Spirit of God. Finally, the best of all, God is on our side! Be blessed and let God be expressed through you in His fullness.
