Is there oil in your lamp?

The events of this world is pointing towards one imminent event on God’s calendar, the rapture of the Church. The Lord Jesus is coming for His church. Many are complacent thinking that the Church will go through the tribulation period. In reality, according to the Bible, it is clear that the rapture is pre-tribulation.

Imagine this. A good father who loves his child and protects the child will not let a child suffer through a violent and terrible situation. How much more our Heavenly Father? God sent Jesus to die for all our sins. He rose again and sat at the right Hand of the Father promising that He will prepare, come and take us to His place. This is just as the Jewish wedding tradition where a bridegroom prepares the place for his bride before taking her to his. That’s what the Lord is doing now. According to John 14, He will come and take us to the place He has prepared for us. The Lord who revealed Himself for us, suffered for us, rose up defeating the enemy for us and One who has prepared a place for us is now not going to let us go through tribulation period.

The church is going to be raptured at any moment (1 Thess 4: 13 -18). Believers need to be sober and alert (1 Thess 5) for the Lord. And, keep reaching out to as many as you can so that we can take as many as brothers and sisters to our heavenly family. The Lord Himself said that He is coming quickly in Rev 22:20. The Message translation says that He is on His way. As a Church we declare, “Even so, come Lord Jesus!” This will ensure the oil in the lamp is full and the lamp will keep burning!
